Protecting Your Children Online

If you have children protecting them online is no doubt your #1 priority. Its a dangerous world out there, and the internet is no exception. Below are some tips you should tell your children:

  • Never give out any information that could be used to identify you. Such as full name, school, addresses. Especially not on any kind of public site such as a chat room.
  • Never feel pressured that you are unable to leave a situation online. If in doubt, grab your Mum or Dad.
  • Never, ever meet anyone off the internet. Unless your parents have given express permission and are aware of the situation.
  • Remember that just because a person says they are your age doesn't mean they are. Anyone can lie about who they are on the internet.
These are some basics tips that should keep your children save online. Another great way to prevent tracking is to use the best VPN available in your price range. VPNs are a great way to stop people knowing your real IP address.

  2. It is indeed necessary to protect children when they go online. This was a nice read. You can use a VPN for that but you should do some research before going for one.
